Resonance Joins PACE as a Strategic Partner
We are pleased to announce that Resonance has joined the Platform to Accelerate the Circular Economy (PACE) as a strategic partner. In this role, we will support PACE in its efforts to drive the global dialog and accelerate the scaling of circular strategies across key industry sectors.
“In the coming decade, the transition to the circular economy is one of the most important and most challenging tasks facing industry, communities, and governments,” said Resonance CEO Nazgul Abdrazakova. “Resonance is thrilled to work alongside leading businesses, NGOs, and governments to catalyze this transition towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and productive global economy.”
The circular economy looks to move past our current linear Take-Make-Waste economic system to one that decouples economic growth from resource extraction and consumption. This reframe opens the door for innovative new business models, policies, and practices. Visionary companies and governments are already beginning to capitalize on this opportunity.
Launched by the World Economic Forum in 2018, PACE is comprised of CEOs from leading companies, government ministers from Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as the heads of the world’s largest environmental organizations. PACE works to accelerate the transition to a global circular economy through three activity pillars—leadership, learning, and projects—and currently focuses on four key sectors: food and agriculture, fashion and textiles, plastics, and electronics.
As a strategic partner, Resonance offers PACE its expertise in market-driven sustainable approaches as well as our deep experience in multi-stakeholder collaboration. In addition, Steve Schmida, founder and Chief Innovation Officer joins the PACE leadership group, alongside leaders from across business, government, and environmental NGOs.
“We’re thrilled to have Resonance on the team,” said David McGinty, Global Director of PACE. “Their proven expertise in bringing together organizations from across sectors to take action on sustainability challenges will help the PACE community realize its vision faster, and at scale.”
We look forward to working together with current and new partners to ignite circular opportunities to advance global good.
