Gregory Rockson, co-founder and CEO of mPharma, will share his journey launching a bold new solution to increase the affordability of high-quality medicines across six countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe). His inclusive pharmaceutical management platform mPharma now manages a network of 400 pharmacies serving millions of patients each year.
Winner of the 2019 Skoll Award, mPharma lowers the price of medicine and helps pharmacies keep their shelves stocked by aggregating and predicting demand across its pharmacy network. It works to control costs by partnering and buying directly from major drug manufacturers such as Novartis, Bayer, and Pfizer. mPharma also provides patients with innovative drug financing in the form of an interest-free micropayment plan.
