About this webinar

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), like diabetes and hypertension, challenge healthcare delivery systems around the world. These diseases require innovative solutions for service providers to educate patients and deliver quality care for prevention, treatment, and maintenance. NCDs take on heightened importance in emerging markets for two reasons:

  1. 85 percent of premature deaths due to diabetes and cardiovascular disease occur in emerging markets
  2. With the rise of universal health coverage, governments are paying increased attention to the burden of these diseases, as they are pervasive and costly to manage across populations.

Find out at how three organizations—PATH, Access Accelerated, and Clinicas del Azúcar—are pioneering novel approaches to promote access to care through new business models anchored in cross-sector partnership.
