About Javaid

Javaid Rafat has spent over 13 years leading the design, management, and implementation of MEL systems and plans for large-scale economic growth and trade; democracy, human rights, and governance (DRG); gender equality & women’s empowerment; stabilization; and education programs. He has extensive experience in research design, performance and impact evaluation, large-scale data collection and analysis, and descriptive and inferential statistics.

Prior to joining Resonance, Javaid worked with key USAID and DoS IPs, including Creative Associates, DAI, AECOM International Development, Tetra Tech, and Vital Voices Global Partnership, helping these organizations with developing effective MEL plans, crafting theories of change and logic models; developing and implementing MEL data collection strategies, designing and conducting baselines, and evaluation for different projects and analyzing, visualizing and reporting qualitative and quantitative data.

Javaid has an MBA from Strayer University in Washington, DC.
