Eric has served as a member of the C-suite/executive leadership team and Board of Directors at global development organizations and government contractors. Eric's background spans finance, business strategy, P&L management, operations, and compliance in the USA, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and East Asia.
Throughout his career, Eric has been part of some of the most exciting strategy, business, and economic transformation initiatives—from spearheading privatization projects in Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan to serving as Chief Operating Officer at Save the Children US.
Along with operational expertise, Eric brings deep experience in all aspects of finance—from serving as Chief Financial Officer at Chemonics, an international development government contractor, to working at a bulge-bracket investment bank and start-up hedge fund to founding an investment fund with holdings in pharmacies in Russia.
As CFO of Chemonics, he contributed to growing enterprise value by 85% over seven years, and advising and supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, investors, and executive management team on all business and financial matters. Eric helped Chemonics attain 100% employee ownership (ESOP) through extensive financial engineering. He also contributed to efforts that resulted in ISO-9001 certification and clean corporate audits.
Formerly, Eric managed privatization projects in Eastern Europe for International Finance Corporation (IFC). Extensive management and technical experience includes consulting to high-level government officials, designing and delivering public awareness campaigns, and conducting press relations. He is fluent in Russian and Spanish and conversant in Ukrainian.
