Resonance Joins Power Africa

Resonance is pleased to announce that we have been selected for the USAID Power Africa Expansion.  This 5 year multi-holder contract with a ceiling of $900 million, will support efforts to drive investment into Africa’s burgeoning power sector.  Resonance is pleased partner with McKinsey & Company, Research Triangle Institute, CrossBoundary, Mott MacDonald, and Herbert Smith Freehills.

According to President and CEO, Nazgul Abdrazakova, “We are honored and humbled to be awarded the Power Africa Expansion.  Power Africa is one of the most high-profile initiatives of the US government today. Together with our partners, Resonance is thrilled to support the efforts of companies, governments and investors to deliver affordable and sustainable power across the continent.”

The Power Africa award builds upon Resonance’s growing track record of catalyzing ventures in clean energy around the world. “We are pleased to bring our experience in off-grid and small scale renewable investment to the Power Africa team.  We look forward to working with our partners to enable Africa to power its next stage of development.” commented Darren Miao, Resonance Director of Impact Investment.
