About Kristin

Kristin Salmon is the Senior Manager of Philanthropic Strategic Partnerships at Resonance, where she leads the philanthropic services practice, serving foundations, nonprofits, and impact-oriented organizations. With nearly a decade of experience in the philanthropy sector, Kristin oversees teams on developing program strategies and partnership frameworks to address environmental sustainability and social impact through systems change, innovation, and partnerships in the public and private sectors. Kristin has advised a variety of clients, including the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, the Walton Family Foundation, and the Zayed Sustainability Prize.  

Prior to joining Resonance, Kristin served as the Philanthropic Partnership Manager at Fair Trade USA in a fundraising capacity to secure institutional and corporate funding for environmental and human rights initiatives. Philanthropic partners included Kroger, Target, Patagonia, Cotopaxi, Walmart, Whole Foods Market, Chobani, Bank of the West, and Mitsubishi. Kristin holds a BA in Environmental Science and Spanish from Pitzer College, of the Claremont College Consortium. She lives in Oakland, California where she enjoys surfing, hiking amongst the Redwoods, and dancing salsa.
