About Ben

Ben Jaffe is a young international development professional with 4+ years of experience supporting U.S. Government business development and project implementation. Ben has managed and supported proposals that cover private-sector engagement, countering violent extremism, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), good governance, economic growth, women’s empowerment, innovation, and sustainable energy. Ben has also managed and implemented multiple projects for the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development focused on protecting religious freedoms, supporting internally displaced persons, and youth education.

Ben has a BA in Economics and a BA in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland and has a MA in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals. Outside of Resonance, Ben is a board member and storytelling volunteer at KAMA DC, a volunteer-run non-profit that provides a platform for immigrants and refugees living in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia to tell their stories and teach classes. As part of his work with KAMA DC, Ben co-hosts the Journeys podcast, which showcases the stories of immigrants and refugees. Ben also serves on the steering committee of the D.C. Immigrant Film Festival.
