5 Ingredients for Successful Circular Economy Partnerships

- October 23, 2020

The circular economy offers a vision of a truly sustainable future: One in which global business models design out waste and pollution, keep materials in use, and help regenerate natural systems. More and more companies and governments are getting on board with this vision, but no one actor can make it reality on their own.

Partnerships – and particularly cross-sector partnerships – are an essential tool for a sustainable future. In a new article for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, our founder Steve Schmida and Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE) Global Director David McGinty have distilled five key elements that lead to strategic and successful cross-sector partnerships and explore how cross-sector collaboration is already being deployed to accelerate the circular economy.

This piece draws from the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s virtual Sustainability Summit Series session on Collaborating for Impact.
